This uOPEN™ platform will allow new and existing First Horizon customers to securely apply for and fund new accounts online, all in a single session at any time of the day or night without going to a branch. The service will be available from the First Horizon and First Tennessee bank websites and will enable FHN to better serve its customers, improve operational efficiency, and improve cross-sell opportunities. Additionally, this service will complete, in real-time, identification authentication for applicants based on First Horizon's approval criteria in accordance with 'know your customer' rules. This offering begins with a Certificate of Deposit and expands to all kinds of deposit products in orderly fashion.
uOPEN™ deployment at FHN follows the development and implementation of several other services powered with uMonitor solutions for the FHN customers, including Employer Plan Manager - uBENEFITS™ for mSaver for the management of employee HSA accounts, uMonitor Funds Transfer services, and uMAdvisor for the Private Client area managing high net worth customers. "We chose uMonitor products because they are powerful resources that meet our technology needs," said Amy Shreve, senior vice president of Business Process Services for First Horizon. "uOPEN delivers on a highly complex set of requirements so we can better serve our customers in every area. We are delighted with our Parsam Technologies partnership that has given us the ability to expand our reach into areas that were untapped by us before now."
"In keeping with our goal to maximize the value and convenience we deliver to our customers by providing industry-leading online services, we were able to create a solution that will not only meet high standards set by First Horizon, but exceed their customers' expectations," said Dinesh Sheth, CEO of Parsam. "With uMonitor services, we will bring a new level of convenience to all FHN users, regardless of how far they may live from a branch, creating a unique value for their business and a new breed of customer loyalty to foster growth within a secure and efficient environment. We are proud to be a technology partner for an institution with First Horizon's reputation for customer service."
First Horizon and Parsam Technologies have continued to move forward with plans for the development of similar products for the First Tennessee Bank customer base that will serve its customers with the latest in cutting edge technology. As with First Horizon, users will see enhancements in many areas of their online financial management capabilities.
uMonitor is recognized in the financial services industry for delivering highly dependable services to meet credit union and bank requirements - the best technology, exceptional customer service, and fast system implementation - at a very affordable price.
